Large Squirrel House for Outside, Fir Wood Squirrel Box with Window

• Upgraded Fir Wood Body for Outdoor Use Many outdoor squirrel houses use basic pine-style wood that may raise concerns about cracking, warping, or moisture exposure over time. Our squirrel house uses fir wood panels with a natural wood structure designed for outdoor placement on trees, fences, posts, gardens, and backyards.
• Clear Coating for Added Weather Resistance The fir wood surface is treated with a clear water-resistant coating to help reduce direct moisture contact during outdoor use. Combined with the sloped roof and bottom drainage holes, this squirrel nesting box is designed to better handle seasonal outdoor conditions.
• Roof Overhang Helps Shield the Entrance The widened roof overhang helps shed rainwater and adds overhead coverage above the doorway. This structure helps reduce direct exposure around the entrance area while giving squirrels a more sheltered path into the nesting space.
• Entry Layout Designed for Added Protection The doorway is built with a recessed entry and front porch layout to help reduce direct reach from larger animals such as raccoons. The covered entrance structure also helps reduce open exposure from above while allowing squirrels to enter and exit naturally.
• Feeding Tray and Easy Observation Window The front porch includes a feeding tray for adding food, and the acrylic viewing window lets you observe activity without frequently opening the house. Bottom drainage holes help reduce standing water inside, making routine outdoor inspection easier.
