Blue Ridge Cool Water Wheat Koi Fish Food, 3/16" Pellets, 5 lb

• COOL-WATER KOI & GOLDFISH FOOD — Feed Blue Ridge Cool Water Wheat once your pond water drops below 60F. As water cools, koi and goldfish digest food more slowly, and a wheat-germ-based diet is easier and faster for their system to process than a rich, high-protein warm-water food.
• FAST-SOFTENING 3/16" FLOATING PELLETS — The 3/16" pellet floats and softens within minutes, so fish take it easily and uneaten food is simple to skim off before it clouds the water. Feed only what your fish finish in a few minutes; the floating pellet also works well in automatic pond feeders. Reseal the bag and store cool and dry to keep pellets fresh.
• WHEAT-GERM BASED FOR EASY COOL-WATER DIGESTION — In cool water a koi's digestive system slows down, and food that lingers too long in the gut can lead to health problems. Wheat germ is light and easy to digest at low temperatures, so it moves through a slowed system instead of overloading it.
• MATCHED TO WATER TEMPERATURE, NOT THE CALENDAR — Use Cool Water Wheat whenever your pond water sits below 60F; conditions vary widely by region, so follow a thermometer, not the date. Once your water warms back above 60F and your fish are active, switch to Blue Ridge Platinum Pro for active-season feeding. When the water turns very cold and your fish stop coming up to eat, pause feeding until it warms again. Each pellet includes a blend of vitamins and minerals.
• FROM AMERICA'S LONGEST-RUNNING KOI SUPPLIER — Blue Ridge has been in business since 1958, and the Cool Water Wheat formula was developed through decades of real feeding experience with the help of professional aquatic nutritionists.
